So for those who know me personally know I work 2 jobs. I did not really need to work two jobs as my full time job gets me by. But I share custody with Seth's dad and there a couple of days a week in which I do not have him. Before Jeffrey moved across country and married me I was so depressed without Seth on those days. So I kept asking my dad who was one of the managers at our local Uno's if he needed a host or something on those random days I did not have Seth. After a while he said to apply and I interviewed with the main manager. I was hired on the spot and thrilled. I already knew a bunch of the servers since we would eat there a lot and visit my dad. I would always joke that it took me to get paid to spend time with my dad as you have long unpredictable hours when working in the restaurant business.
I loved working at Uno. I had regulars who I knew their names and jobs and their favorite servers etc. My son loved Uno and all of the wonderful things that happened there. Whether it was kids nights, or Christmas celebrations. I will miss the amazing team I had the honor of working with. They always had me laughing and smiling despite tense moments of long waits and kitchen mishaps.
I love all of my coworkers and they helped this single mom transition to a newlywed trying to manage it all.
